I’ve just taken a very brief look at this. You get a nicely made wallet to help with storing the gimmick and to use to duplicate the signature on a bill.
Here’s some facts to answer your questions:
1) It takes 30 seconds of the signed card being out of play.
2) It takes 3-5 minutes to get a GOOD duplication on the other card.
3) You can reuse the gimmick up to 3 or 4 times but you must wait 2-3 weeks before you use the same gimmick again.
4) Once the signed card has been duplicated, the spectator can’t touch the ink on their original card. But they can freely touch the ink on the duplicate.
5) You must use the special purple marker that comes with the kit.
6) Neither card is “treated” beforehand in any way.
I would be worried about the marker drying up. If this happens, you are screwed. But I’m sure Ellusionist will have some kind of refill kit option of just buying the sharpie, or a least, they should. I think that would serve them best.
From a brief look at the explanation, it’s a solid method and it will work beautifully. But this definitely isn’t a table hopping routine. This is a routine you’re going to want to only use for a special occasion. You will have to structure your routine in a way that allows enough time for the selected card and the duplicate card. This shouldn’t be too difficult to do though.
I think if you like what you see and you have an idea for how to use a duplicate signature, get this. You will have to work around the requirements a bit, but that isn’t too big of an issue. Just know this is going to be a better fit for a one off performance than your restaurant gig.
je vous laisse traduire avec google traduction pour les non anglophones mais cela fait pas mal déchanter. Après c'est à prendre avec des pincettes car c'est non officiel si je ne me trompe pas.
