Bonjour je suis très surpris par la chronologie ...........établie par un francais !!! Décès de Houdini 1929 Création de la Blackstone Magic Company 1933 Création de la Abbott's Magic Manufacturing Company 1954 Naissance de Charlotte Pendragon A priori cela ne sent pas une origine française...... Est ce une note comique de nous mettre dans les grands évènements de la magie, la naissance de Charlotte Pendragon ??????????? ...... Pour "Création de la Blackstone Magic Company" et "Abbott company" il faut etre sérieux ....cette chronologie a pour origine un magasin de trucs ...........car dans l'histoire de la magie il y a bien d'autres marchands avant : Roujol, de Vere, Caroly, Voisin, Willmann, Martinka, Bland, MYSTO, STANYON, WYLES, SHAW, YOST, Gamage, etc... voir aussi le document TIMELINE OF MAGIC ...... Acetabularii are a group of magicians specializing on the cups and balls effect. 400-1000 - The Dark Ages; little is known about the history of magic, but much of it was associated with the occult and magic as entertainment is not prominent. 1000-1500 - The Middle Ages where much magic was still associated with the occult and witchcraft. The "father of modern magic", who brought it from the street and circus side shows to an elegant stage or drawing room setting. 1874 - Year of birth of Harry Houdini aka King of Cards and King of Handcuffs (died 1926). Real name Ehrich Weiss, he achieved fame as an escapologist. 1876 - The first publication of Modern Magic. Written by Professor Louis Hoffman (1839–1919) (Real name Angelo John Lewis), it was a definitive work on the state of the art of that time. 1877 - Martinka and Co. was founded by Francis and Antonio Martinka, it was run by Houdini in 1919 and is still in existence today. 1894 - Year of birth of Dai Vernon (died 1992). aka "The Professor" and "The Man That Fooled Houdini", he was born as David Frederick Wingfield Verner in Ottawa. The most influential 20th-century magician. 1902 - The "Expert At The Card Table" is published by The Charles T. Powner Co. was written by S. W. Erdnase. Considered by serious card workers as one of the most important books written on the subject. 1902 - May 10, The Society of American Magicians is founded at Martinka's Magic Shop in New York City, New York. It is the oldest magic society in the world. 1905 - July - The Magic Circle was formed. Its first President was David Devant. This is a prestigious organisation for magicians and has strict rules against exposure. (It expelled its founder twice for alleged exposure, something it has done to many famous magicians.) 1911 - Our Magic by Nevil Maskelyne and David Devant arguably one of the most important books of magic theory is published. 1911 - The Mysto Magic Company incorporated by Gilbert, Gilbert, and Petrie. 1918 - Houdini first performs Morritt's Vanishing Elephant at the Hippodrome on January 7. 1921 - P.T. David Blaine brings "Street Magic" to America. 1998 - World Of Illusion at Madison Square Garden launched the career of Criss Angel, followed by Criss Angel Mindfreak which ran until 2003.

Pour Sharp c est identique a Arsene Lupin et Torrini. !!!!! POUR DECREMPS il a certainement ete le premier marchand par correspondance.....a la fin de certains ouvrages il y avait une feuille a decouper pour commander des choses. Les ouvrages ayant encore ce feuillet a decouper sont recherches.

C'est sur des tréteaux près de Perpignan que nous avons salué le départ à jamais de Mireldo , grand père de Mathieu Métral l'un des brillants comédiens de la pièce ........ Message à Mathieu : Tu es rentré dans le cercle des Illusionnistes .... Tu connais toute l'affection que j'ai à ton égard, aussi j'espère que tu viendras chercher la mallette avec tous les documents magiques qui te reviennent de droit ....... Perpignan c'est le centre du monde. Quand j'y suis venu j'ai fait se rencontrer Hiatus et Domenjax et un nouveau club magique est né !!!!! Stéphane Galli est de Bompas, ainsi que Germinal qui travaillait autrefois à Paris avec Germinal. Chaque année je rencontrais Switon lors de la tournée de Patrick Sébastien. Avec ALLIAS et Yann Brieuc michel BERRY c'était nos tournées d'été..... Donc Perpignan c'est super et beaucoup de magiciens ont des souvenirs avec cette ville ...ou les villes très proches ...... c'est une copie de la lettre, ou une retranscription de la lettre? Car ce qui m'a surpris, ce n'est pas que Robert Houdin râle sur les impôts, mais que la lettre soit tapée à la machine: Il me semblait que les machines à écrire étaient encore très rares, à cette époque, mais je me trompe? 1850 correspond à l'invention de la machine à ruban, et si j'ai bien compris, les machines avant 1850 étaient artisanales, voire expérimentales. Et c'est d'autant plus surprenant, pour ce genre de lettre: Les rapports avec l'administration étaient basés sur l'écriture, d'après ce que j'ai compris, mais une belle calligraphie était un gage d'éducation, voire de respect. Si l'original était tapé à la machine, ce qui montrerai que dans ce domaine aussi Robert Houdin était à la pointe du modernisme, il est surprenant de trouver ce type de correspondance pour une demande d'allégement fiscal: Bon, si c'est une retranscription d'un document manuscrit, bien sur, la question ne se pose pas... Gilbus A priori il n'y plus personne qui connait la copie certifiée conforme par un officier de l'état civil. Cette façon de faire n'existe plus puisque on peut certifié nous même un document depuis les années 80. Donc il s'agit de la retranscription d'une lettre originale en 1903(voir coin droit), par un moyen moderne (machine à écrire) et certifiée comme conforme à l'originale par un officier ministériel. (maire ou adjoint ayant la délégation)

J'ai précisé qu'il s'agissait d'une "copie certifiée conforme" ( voir détails en partie droite basse) IL Y A BEAUCOUP de personnes qui ne savent pas que Robert était une partie du nom ou qui font des erreurs en écrivant le nom de Robert-Houdin.

J'ai retrouvé ce document certifié conforme qui reprends une lettre de Robert-Houdin adressée à l'administration fiscale ...... Etre Artiste c'est bien , mais il faut aussi être chef d'entreprise....... IL avait tout compris !!!!!! Christian Fechner qui a eu une réussite exceptionnelle dans le domaine du cinéma et des arts a fait une biographie sur le Maitre. Pour Christian Fechner connaitre le monde de la magie passait avant l'acquisition de nouveaux tours ou techniques........Suivez ses conseils !!!!! Siegfried, Roy, David ont perçu le message à 100 pour cent .......pourquoi pas vous également ?

Roger son épouse et moi meme lors d'un congres.

Je viens d'apprendre la triste nouvelle. Apres des annees de resistance qui n'avaient pas entame sa gentillesse et son sourire Roger Dumontet nous a quitte. Sa stature imposante n' apparaitra plus dans les rendez vous importants de la Magie. A sa charmante epouse et a toute sa famille nous adressons nos sinceres condoleances. Actuellement je ne sais rien sur le deroulement de la ceremonie d' adieu....... Adieu mon Ami...........!

Salut mon vieux !!! Tu regardes Vassal et Tréborix.......leurs tables sont légérement différentes ...............

Stop !!!!!! Tout n'est pas négatif !!!!! Notre fille a fait un cachet, grâce à Franck Dubosc (ancien assistant de Hugues Protat) qui participait à l'émission ... Et en prime on l'a vu en plein travail pendant au moins douze secondes ..... Mesmer Premier ministre ou HYPNOTISEUR je n'ai pas vu la différence !!!........ Demain dans la France profonde Mesmer aura laissé sa marque et que l'on aime ou pas il n'est pas arrivé par hasard. Après on adapte en fonction du cachet ...et on s'abaisse pour mettre en valeur le producteur présentateur. Un cachet d'intermittent c'est important par les temps qui courent pour atteindre leur nombre fatidique sur les derniers mois !!!! Donc j'ai un avis, mais je ne cracherai pas dans la soupe qui devient de plus en plus claire ....... Pour moi c'est fini, mais je pense aux techniciens d'effets spéciaux , aux techniciens, électros, maquilleurs, coiffeurs, chauffeurs, et x autres métiers qui vont avoir un cachet qui leur permettra peut être d'atteindre ce nombre de cachet butoir ........c'est mon voeu le plus cher !!!!!!

Pour Info , Nao a fait ses débuts dans le spectacle MADGIC The SECRET DINNER présenté au début juillet 2013 dans les salons du restaurant du Louvre....... Les progrès sont fulgurants !!!!
