City Prediction pour iPhone de Soma

Bonjour à tous, je viens de découvrir cette nouvelle création de Soma :

C'est un peut le genre de tour dont j'ai toujours rêver, souvent réaliser par des magiciens de télévision (malheureusement utilisant des stooges), mais la c'est bel et bien réel, le téléphone est EMPRUNTER au spectateur (ça déjà c'est excitant), vous vous rendez sur Apple Map, vous faite votre prédiction, puis vous demander au spectateur de NOMMER LIBREMENT une ville ( je vais ban***), le spectateur retourne lui même le téléphone et... La ville qu'il a nommer est épingler sur Apple Map ! Le tour parfait... Impromptu, direct, objet emprunté, choix totalement libre, vous ne toucher à rien.

Simplement il y a un problème, cela ne se fait que sur iPhone ou iPad avec iOS6+ enfin bref... Très limiter. En plus de cela il faut posséder vous même un iPhone avant de pouvoir faire le tour avec un téléphone emprunté. C'est un tour donc que je ne pourrais probablement jamais faire. Mais je trouve l'idée superbe. Utiliser l'application Map du téléphone du spectateur pour prédire un choix de ville ou de pays, c'est vraiment sympa et "moderne". En fait il serais possible de réaliser cet effet de façon moins propre évidemment avec n'importe quel type de smartphone emprunté si on force la ville. C'est pour ça que je fait ce sujet, si certain on des référence pour forcer une ville ou ce genre de chose, que ce soit forçage psychologique ou autre. Merci d'avance de vos réponses !

Tu peux noter plusieurs villes de France (ou du monde) sur des cartes blanches d'un jeu bicycle puis prendre la méthode de ton choix pour la forcer.

Oui c'est vrai ! D'ailleurs cela va me donner l'occasion de mettre en pratique le forçage Pateo que j'ai découvert il y a peut.

c'est un bon effet mais ne marche qu'avec apple et pas tous ...

sinon ,la grosse contrainte pour que l'effet soit top,

Justement l'autre solution est mieux a mon avis mais comme je ne parle pas anglais ,je n'ai pas compris ce qu'il dit a la nana pour justifier d'aller sur google et taper barcelona et la il lui dit un truc que j'ai pas compris,que faut il dire a la personne pour qu'ele regarde elle meme dans google.

Oui 16€ est encore ça devrait être encore plus chère.

Franchement de loin la meilleure app.

Pour justifier la recherche, il demande simplement le nombre d'habitants.

Je sais pas j'ai du au bas mot le faire 50 fois depuis que je l'ai.

En plus Soma a de réelles mises a jour a proposer a l'avenir rendant la bête encore mieux.

Et pour info si vous êtes français l'app va d'elle même charger les caractères français ce qui rend l' app parfaitement compatible dans la langue de moliere.

Pour ce qui est de la compatibilité, les gars y'a un moment faut faire les mises a jours ios.

Bref merci Soma,

Que du bonheur, est en plus toujours en poche.

Une idee choper sur un autre site

Je n'ai pas tout compris meme avec le traducteur,apparement ce serait une tres bonne idee.

I start by asking the spec to load maps on their phone... I casually say let me look up something and do the dirty work. I place it face down as if I've learned something and explain that we'll come back to that later if I feel I'm up to it. I then hand them the prediction from "hotel" and ask them to put it somewhere I can't touch it.

I explain how my father had to travel most of my childhood and how I'd keep myself busy by trying to learn magic to show him when he got back. He'd travel all over the world and always bring back interesting things for me to play with (all true btw)... Prior to 9/11 you were allowed to go up to the cockpit and ask talk to pilots - he'd in fact get them to sign this log book - a record of every flight he'd ever taken. (True). He also collected business cards from all of the hotels he'd stay at, if he liked the service etc.

I go through phase 1 of hotel and when it's time for the revelation I ask them one question that seems important - of every city in the world, which city would you say has the BEST hotel you've ever stayed at? Spec answers. I act as if that gives me some insight into which of the hotel cards they selected. I look for ANY connection I can.

I then read their mind and name the hotel.

I compliment their choice and then casually Google the hotel and look at my phone saying "ah yes, beautiful hotel" - this is where I do the dirty work, actually googling their names city from earlier.

I then do phase 2 of hotel - which ends with their "freely selected" hotel being predicted in advance via the room key they were holding the entire time. Climax 2

While their mind is still spinning from thst I verh casually ask them - what was the city you said earlier that has your favorite hotel in the world?

They turn over their phone.

I performed this once casually and once at a paid gig this past weekend in Chicago. Reactions were OFF THE CHART. The ending phase is so strong it almost negates the hotel routine itself. It's all people remember.

So, in summary the effect from the spec's POV is as follows:

1. They open maps on their phone. I look something up, place it face down and hand them a sealed prediction.

2. They think of a hotel among my 30 business cards.

3. They give me a clue as to how they think by casually naming a city in the world that had their favorite hotel.

4. I name the hotel they are thinking of.

5. They then deal blind to a new hotel.

6. It matches room key from the beginning.

7. Bringing it full circle, they then turn over their phone. It has that named city loaded on it.
