Qui ? Avait-il bossé l'effet avant ou bien il le faisait pour s'amuser ? Ce qui expliquerait le taux d'échec.

Les gars, ceux qui ont vu l'effet en live, avez-vous été transportés et bluffés par The Secret avant de voir les coulisses ou bien vous a-t'on directement montré le secret ?

Oui je le vois comme ça Manoeda, David Je suis désolé, mais avec n'importe quel kicker où je ne sais quoi, le spectateur pensera toujours à un casse-tête. Si tu n'as pas cette impression, c'est que tes spectateurs sont très polis ! Je te taquine, mais je suis pas si loin de la vérité, non ? Toi qui aime aussi le Jerx, je serais curieux de savoir ce qu'Andy pense de ce "tour".

Alors si c'est ça, ce serait la plus grosse en***ade jamais vue dans le commerce magique. J'ose espérer que ce n'est pas ça.

J'espère juste qu'il n'y a pas d'histoire du type "toujours mentir ou dire la vérité, selon le côté de la pièce". Un peu comme MANOEDA ou effet de Julien Losa dont j'ai oublié le nom. A ce moment là, ce serait un puzzle logique, un casse-tête à résoudre pour le spectateur... Mais bon, j'ai de l'espoir car il est précisé dans le trailer "un effet pur / simple / direct".

A black spot on the plastic cover hides the watch face so that no can see when the watch was photographed. The magician asks a spectator to name any hour. (This is not the magician's choice or a force.) Then the lucite block is removed from the cover revealing that the watch diplays the same hour as the spectator's choice. Frozen in Time allows you to predict a randomly selected time with nothing more complicated than a photograph. No electronics, no complicated gimmicks.

25€ fdpi I think this might well be a brand new plot in card magic! You show a deck of cards which is completely unlike ANY your audience has ever seen: every single card in the deck has something written on the face of it - exactly how it should be revealed! E.g. the Ace of Hearts has "Inside the box" written on it, meaning that should a participant pick the Ace of Hearts, it will appear inside the card box. And all 52 cards have a different message: "Face-up in the deck", "Rise out of the deck", "Folded up in a box", "In a wallet (and an envelope!)", "Under your watch", "At a named number", etc, etc. The deck is shuffled and the participant selects a card and reads the message, so that he knows how it will be revealed. The performer turns his head away so that he sees neither. The card is very cleanly shuffled back into the deck which is placed on the table. The performer never touches it again (oh, and nothing is palmed out of the deck at any time!) The performer now asks how the card should be revealed and the participant responds: in the performer's pocket. The performer is dubious and shows his pocket empty. He then asks what card the participant chose and the participant says the "Three of Diamonds". The participant counts through the deck to find that there are only 51 cards and that the Three of Diamonds is missing. The performer reaches inside his pocket again... and it is still empty. He asks the participant to tell him the EXACT words that were on the card. The participant replies that it said "In his pocket." The performer is incredulous as he explains that no one has ever picked the Three of Diamonds before and that the has always wondered how it would work! He says that since HE owns the deck, it means that the message is referring to the participant's pocket! Unbelievably, when the participant reaches into his own pocket he finds his own selected card!! The good news is that Ouroboros is not just the killer trick described above, but a complete system, which means that the effect can be repeated with a different card and a different outcome. All of my preferred outcomes are 'card to impossible location' effects for reasons I explain in the instructions, but once you know the system you can adapt it to your own needs. It can also be very easily incorporated as the climax of any multiple selection routine that you might already perform. Ouroboros is so strong that it has to be used as a closer. In fact it might be the ONLY card trick you include in that particular set. Certainly nothing can follow it. And one of my beta testers has been astonishing with it at weddings, with the bride finding her selection inside the groom's pocket whilst you are stood on the opposite side of the table! Comes will full instructions and all the required secret stuff. Supply your own Bicycle deck. I decided to let you write your own deck (which is fully explained in the instructions) so that Ourboros can be performed in any language.

40€ fdpi Seeking the Bridge is divided into two parts: the first part deals with John’s innovative and extensive work on memorized deck magic. Nearly all of it can be done with any stack; instead, these routines deal mostly with a smart way of connecting multiple selections to each other using a “bridge” mindset (you have to read it to grasp the idea). But the book isn't for memorized deck users only. There is plenty to offer including a very intriguing deck switch idea and some fine gambling effects. It is very clear that John Born has become a real "worker" as his effects are practical and original. The quality of the book itself is beautiful: blue cloth-bound, matching his previous Meant to Be in size, and 189 pages full of illustrative photos. John continues to push boundaries as a performer and a creator, and Seeking the Bridge is worthy of careful study.

Très joli trailer! Du coup, des petites réponses seraient les bienvenues pour nous éclairer :) - à quoi ressemble l'effet de "dans quelle main ?" combien de phases ? Et l'histoire de la poche c'est quoi ? - comment sont utilisés les côtés "oui" et "non" ? Peut on deviner la polarité de la pièce dans la main fermée ? - peut-on faire l'effet avec une autre pièce ?

J'avais contacté Benoît qui m'avait apporté cette réponse (en partie) par mail. -------------------------------------------------- Bonjour Dorian et merci pour votre message, Il n'existe, à ma connaissance, pas de "livre-almanach", à l'exception de celui de Philippe Socrate "Chronos" qui est sorti chez CC Editions. Mais il ne couvre que le XXème siècle. Les "anciens" utilisent des calendriers des Postes, mais c'est aujourd'hui très cher si on veut tout le XXème siècle Une solution "annexe" est de [....] Je suis navré, mais à ce jour, et à ma connaissance, il n'y a pas ça... En ce qui me concerne, j'ai réalisé le mien (je parle de l'ouvrage permettant de contrôler), et j'ai pour projet de le refaire (fort de mon expérience) pour le proposer à d'autres artistes que cela pourrait intéresser, mais vu le temps que cela prend, j'ai préféré ne pas trop m'avancer... car je n'ai aucune idée de quand je pourrai aboutir ce projet là. -------------------------------------------------- 2 ans plus tard, il y est !
